Hyundai Venue Facelift Sketches Revealed; India Launch On June 16

Hyundai Motor India will unveil the refreshed Venue compact SUV on June 16, 2022. The Venue will also now get a new top-end N Line variant. The Venue N Line, similar to the i20 N-Line sold in India, will get sportier-looking cosmetic additions only.The Venue facelift brings a complete styling change. It now features a redesigned front and rear fascia. The Venue compact SUV gets a redesigned parametric front grille similar to Hyundai's larger SUVs like the Tucson and Palisade. In profile, there are no major changes except for the new 16-inch alloy wheels. At the back, the Venue facelift gets a completely redesigned tail-lamp, now connected by an LED light bar. The facelift Venue is expected to get a new 10.25-inch screen, new digital instrument cluster and other cosmetic changes.There is no official news regarding the powertrain, but expect the Venue facelift to be powered by the same naturally aspirated 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine that churns out 83 ps and 114 Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre diesel unit that makes 100 ps and 250 Nm of torque. The Venue facelift will also offer a turbocharged 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that makes 120 ps and 172 Nm of torque.Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Unsoo Kim, MD & CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “As the leading mobility solutions provider, Hyundai has been setting new benchmarks in India with the introduction of blockbuster products.
